On Sunday, November 17th The University of Washington hosted Rise Above kids and families during the volleyball match against Northwestern. Our kids and families were a part of a prematch fan tunnel for Rise Above Ambassador and Emoni Bush and the team as they took the court. Rise Above was recognized during the match as the BECU “Team of The Game” in which our staff, kids and families were invited to the court during the broadcast to be honored.
After the game, kids and families were provided with free meals from the “Off The Rez” food truck, sponsored by the University of Washington Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Department.
Rise Above guests were invited to a private screening of “Rez Ball” on campus before the University of Washington Men’s Basketball game vs UMass Lowell.
